Electric vehicle

Product Features

In-wheel motor technology, also known as wheel‑integrated motor technology, is characterized by the integration of the powertrain, transmission, and braking systems within the wheel hub, thereby significantly simplifying the mechanical components of electric vehicles.

Hub motors for electric vehicles endure substantial impact loads during operation, and water and mud ingress are the most common failure modes. Consequently, higher requirements are imposed on the bearings’ impact resistance and their sealing and waterproofing performance.

Due to the operating characteristics of in-wheel motors, the bearings must be capable of functioning across a wide temperature range. An imported grease is used, with a temperature tolerance of –30 to 180°C.
