Product Features
An electric jackhammer operates on a principle similar to that of an electric hammer: an electric motor drives a crank‑and‑connecting‑rod mechanism via gears, which in turn reciprocally compresses air within a cylinder, causing the air pressure inside to vary cyclically. This fluctuating air pressure then actuates a striker housed in the cylinder, driving it back and forth to strike the top of the drill bit, thereby generating rapid reciprocating motion (frequent impacts).
