Product Features
Driven by an electric motor, the motor’s rotor spins a fan with an eccentric mass; the resulting imbalance causes the fan to oscillate. A sanding pad—made of corundum or other abrasive material—mounted on a flat plate is used to sand the surfaces of wood, metals, and other materials.
It is suitable for fine sanding and smoothing of wooden components, waxing and polishing, as well as sanding and polishing operations for interior and exterior wall finishes; it can also be used in industries such as automotive and shipbuilding for rust removal and for applying filler during painting processes.
Typically, three sets of bearings are used: the front and rear bearings of the motor rotor, and the crankshaft bearing.
